CHMOD (Permissions) Change Request

One of the only problems with an NT server, for some folks, is the inability to modify file permissions on the fly.  NationsHost does not use Telnet, but has put together this handy web interface to "CHMOD" your CGI files exactly the way you want them.

NOTE:  This form will eventually perform the file modification automatically.  However, until this is finished, this form will email the NationsHost administrator who will perform the modification manually.

* CHMOD is a Unix command.  The appropriate command in NT is CACLS, but this is not as commonly referred to since most CGI coding is done on Unix servers.  CHMOD uses a numerical system to determine permissions (1, 2, 4), whereas CACLS uses letters (R, X, W) to determine permission to read, execute, or write.   This form takes all the guesswork out of your permissions handling.
